Like many other professionals, different chiropractors practice differently depending on their areas of interest, education and experience.

More often than not, musculoskeletal problems are more easily treated early rather than later. The practitioners at MiltonBackDoc specialize in a pro-active approach to health, rehabilitation and musculoskeletal fitness. They use a variety of chiropractic and physical rehabilitation techniques to treat not only back and neck problems and headache, but also peripheral injuries, such as knee, shoulder (rotator cuff) and foot problems.

Dr. Myles Wardrope is excited to be working in the beautiful town of Milton. He has a passion for pain science, and in particular pain arising from spinal discs. This can commonly present as sciatic leg pain and an inability to extend your back up right. However, as a chiropractor he has been trained to treat neuro-musculoskeletal aliments for the entire body.

Recently he has completed his credential in the Mckenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy, which focuses on finding a directional preference to help reduce and recover from musculoskeletal pain. This allows for you to perform movements that will benefit your recovery, whilst being easy to integrate into your activities of daily living.

If you find that you have had an increase or a new occurrence of pain from working at home or the office, manual labour, daily activities that you once enjoyed, past pain that continues to linger, or even pain that travels down your leg then book an initial visit with Dr. Wardrope. Treatments consist of using a combination of spinal manipulative therapy, soft tissue therapy, exercises to promote strength and mobility, stretches, education, nutritional evaluation, ergonomic review, and thumper assisted vibration. This provides a holistic, well-rounded, patient centered approach to your chiropractic care.

Prior to completing his chiropractic education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph with a major in human kinetics and a minor in family and child studies. It was in his 4th year that he was introduced to chiropractic through a professor who was also a chiropractor. This inspired him to pursue the profession and become equipped to help his patients manage their spinal health and musculoskeletal conditions. In particular, he has learned about the importance of a biopsychosocial approach to pain management.
